We are men who lead, serve, protect and defend, whether we are giving out Coats for Kids, donating wheelchairs, lending a helping hand in disaster relief efforts, supporting local pregnancy centers or providing top-quality financial products.
Council 11862 continues to collect gently used shoes from the parish. All shoes are then sold to communities in developing countries that would otherwise not afford shoes of have shoes at all. The fundraising program also helps support the American Wheelchair Mission. For every $150 in funds received from the slightly worn shoes, the Council is able to donate 1 wheelchair for persons or families less fortunate and in need of mobility.
